Company History
The company began from Henri Jeanneau who built his first wooden boat and raced it in the 6 hour Paris race in 1957. As he was first to cross the line he began building boats full time. Jeanneau began building the first all fibreglass powerboat in 1961, and it was the first mass produced boat. This was a great step for Jeanneau as it kept the overall cost of the production of a boat down. Because this cut the construction of a boat down, they were able to spend a bigger budget on the powering and fitting of the boat. This lead to an affordable price yet higher quality boat, leading to Jeanneau becoming one of the largest yacht builders in the world today. Jeanneau also have a range of yachts, which are considered one of the best and are also build on race winning technology.

Featured Boat - The Jeanneau Sun 36i
This Sun Odyssey 36i was introduced in 2007. This high performance cruising yacht is built for the comfort and space, for people who are looking for a relaxing cruising yacht to help take you away from everything. This boat is designed for a family with three cabins, and the personality of a blue-water boat. The boat is filled with unique top branded technical fittings, and this boat offers an option of two different below-deck layouts, both offering a very high quality of materials. This is a relaxing spacious sailboat for a boating fan looking to take his whole family away for a stunning cruise away from the world.

Jeanneau 43DS

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 DS is arguably the best cruiser Jeanneau/Beneteau have ever built. The conventionally laid up hull and deck proportions work extremely well with the centrally located fuel and water tanks.

Interior design options include a removable wall cabin kit which allows the large forward en-suite cabin to be split for passage making or family accommodation; splitting the forward cabin into one double and two bunks with separate doors and walls.

All enjoy the huge owner’s aft cabin with the large en-suite heads. The sturdy lay up of the Jeanneau 43DS is complimented with a genuine teak interior, raised floors and additional storage compartments.

If you are considering a 'go anywhere' cruiser under 45', we strongly recommend a test sail aboard a Jeanneau 43DS.
